oh my eyes! ...

I had sore-eyes for 10 days which I got from my son Josh. I had this in the past, but this time the redness and the swelling is really bad. I used Maxitrol ointment 3  times a day upon the advise of my sister-in-law (who is a doctor). After a few days of being cured I was alarmed that my vision got  blurry or cloudy. I had an itchy and sandy feeling in my eyes, and most of the time it does hurt. I had 2 conclusions, my eyes was irritated when I used Eye-mo Red Eyes around the 7th day together with the ointment (which is a “no-no”) or because of my excessive use of computer (minimum of 12 hrs a day on weekdays) even if my eyes was sore.

So after 2 days of guessing if I am slowly going blind (and as advised by my sis-in-law), I went for a consultation at Abesamis Eye Care Clinic at Medical Plaza, at the back of Makati Med.  After 3 different tests, findings was that my eyes was very dry and that my left eye already has a grade.  The ophthalmologist prescribed the ff:

1. Use Refresh Tears Lubricant Eye drops, that I need to atleast 4 times a day for 1 -2 drops.

2. Take Salmon oil capsules which is high in Omega 3 and fatty acids that may help in my eye dryness problem. I need to take it once a day.

3. I was also advised to change my glasses which was only for UV-Ray protection.

I was checking out  frames for my new glasses but came across Bolle sunglasses and I am so loving the styles . Can I just get this instead? ….hehe :)

My follow-up check-up is after a month. My Asian Life card is already expired that time…yikes!
