stress reliever ...
I am so tired. Everyday I wake at 6:00 in the morning to take a bath and then at 7:00 am I open the store and close it 8 – 8:30 pm. From Monday to Saturday that is my routine. I only get a chance to rest longer during Sundays because we close the store around 1pm. So imagine how much I wan to stay asleep till 9 or 10am at least.
To relieve me of everyday stress, I watch a movie every night. So imagine how many dvd’s I buy. Lucky that I found discount cds on-line, now I can get the movies I want in a lower price. And also now that I want to collect classic movies I will have the time of my life collecting! Nice!
rainy day saving ...
It’s rainy season once again and flooding will once again be seen all over the metro. In our case, I hope that the store won’t get swamped again so that we won’t have any loss on profit caused by our goods being soaked.
For the terrace and the little potted garden that we have I think a rain barrel downspout diverter would be great to have so that we can save rain water and use it for cleaning the terrace and watering the plants.
Well, that’s a swell idea don’t you think?
making me pretty ...
So now that I don’t go out as much and just stay at the grocery store from 7am to 8pm everyday of my life, I have more time to put on creams and other stuff for my skin. I have tried a lot of beauty products through the years some are expensive, some are cheap but it really differs on how your skin will react to the product no matter the price.
I have read about this cream egyptian magic cleopatra’s choice and many hollywood stars are raving about it. I want to try it so badly! Haha…here I go again. But honestly, I think if your OK with the product you are using right now, keep it. Don’t be like me who’s wanting to be a guinea pig for all the new products out there.
But hey!, I am sensing that this cream will be the last for me…need to order now to prove it!
And there’s no harm in trying..he he
study table ...
I am planning to have a study table custom built for the kids. This will really make them comfortable especially in doing their homework and school projects. I am asking my uncle to come over our house and make it for us, but he still has some projects lined-up. I need to have it made fast as the opening of classes will be in 3 weeks time.
My late grandfather used to be in the construction business, so my uncle’s know a lot about carpentry and the likes and are exposed to different chemicals. With the article I saw on-line about mesothelioma prognosis, maybe I should let them now about this for them to consider having checked-up. Hope they’ll listen.
summer is over ...
Like last year, I wasn’t able to enroll the three kids for summer lessons that they like. I feel sad actually, because I really want to them to experience new things and not waste their time moping and watching TV or playing games.
One time Amber asked me if we can have a horse as a pet so that she can be an equestrian, haha. Wonder how much a tailored sportsman costs nowadays. Hmmm.
Oh well, better luck next summer.
home improvement ...
Okay so my sister is having some home improvement projects. Well, I wish I was also having one but I sill don’t have a budget for it. The kids are going back to school in a few weeks, and now I am busy trying to buy all they need before classes resume. My pocket is already empty from their tuition fees.
I saw on-line beautiful rustic dining tables that would fit my sister’s new decor. How I wish this is my project, instead. Oh well, maybe next year.
tough times ...
There are times in our lives that problems comes after the other. That we loose hope and question why these things are happening to us.
I have experienced these and surpassed the tough times without asking God “why me?” So when a love one, friends or even acquaintances confide about their problems, I share my experiences. I tell them that God will not give us anything that we cannot handle. That it will all pass and you’ll even wonder how did you get through the trials that came your way.
But you know what, sympathy gifts are like gifts from heaven. They serve like a light in the darkness that reminds someone that there’s still hope and that you are not facing this alone. That somebody cares and ready to help you in your need.
I received one during those tough times.
oh my kids ...
My kids are really extraordinary. Not in a yucky kind of way but more on the interesting side. They are all curious about everything and always have a question for me about a lot of things which I really try to give a valid answer. They are game console addicts, which I am to blame for letting them play unrestricted.
Now I am trying to veer them away from it and asks them to read. I am planning to buy them a yo yo which they can learn to play and do tricks to keep them busy and forget about temple run and bike baron..hehe.
Kids this days..tsk, tsk, tsk!
missing my work ...
I miss my work. I miss my office mates which I really learned to love and treat as my family. I miss my desk and my lightweight laptop which I don’t have a problem bringing around the office. I miss seeing the trophies and awards displayed at the lobby. I am happy that I was able to bring home one, but I would have been better if I got the statue version which will looks like the academy award trophy, hehe.
But I have to accept the fact that I have a new mission, to take care of my kids and the biz. So I have to move on from not being in an air-conditioned place the whole day hehe.
daycare school ...
Yey! My daughter Amber was already accepted to Grade 1 at Sta. Isabel College. She passed the entrance exam, thanks to “Basic Two’s and Four’s Daycare” montessori approach of teaching she already know how to read, count and write her name and other words.
My son Inno also studied at the same school. Hope they can still continue on teaching ( I heard they have plans of closing) and improve their daycare playground equipment for the kiddos.
