My princess Amber is turning 6 years old this coming August.  I’m not planning anything  for her birthday this year, but I really want to make a big fuzz on her 7th birthday next year.  I want to give her a ” Disney princess” themed party.  She wants to wear a gown  and a crown so that would be a dream come true for her.

Illustrado’s in Intramuros would be very nice location for the party, they have an outdoor gazebo which is perfect.  I really need to save up starting today to really make this happen.  Wish me luck!

Okay so it’s “Flores de Mayo” again, also known as “Sagala” or “Santacruzan”. Its a procession that commemorates the search of the Holy Cross by Reyna Elena and her son, the newly-converted emperor Constantine. This tradition was introduced by the Spaniards and has since become part of our culture.   Its like a beauty pageant which the participants wear colorful gowns and crowns.

When I was young I was able to participate on this “Sagalas”. From being an “angel” holding a letter from the word “Ave Maria” to being a “Reyna Elena”.  Haha..memories..on the corner of my mind…haha.

So now a niece of mine was invited this coming Saturday.  So we are going to contact a florist for the floral arrangement of her carriage.  I’m excited!

I love perfume but I don’t remember me buying one.  First reason is that its really expensive, second reasn is that I always receive one as a gift from friends and loveones.  But my “not-buying streak” is already over as I have found discount perfume on-line so now I can afford to purchase it myself or even give it as a gift!

I am trying to put up a potted vegetable garden of my own.  I used to have a vegetable garden when I used to live in Alabang.  I was very happy when I see my plants grow and bear.  Felt like a pro gardener then.  Here I am again and will try it the second time around. Wonder if my green thumb is still working.

And if it does, maybe I will try a much bigger garden and a large diameter hose for my planting…hehe.

Why does everyone  who sees me says I’m FAT!  I hate hearing this 3 letter word. Why can’t  they just see how pretty I am even if I have the bulges!  Ha, ha! Kidding aside,  even if its true, it’s really irritating to hear over and over and right in my face.  Like who really wants to bluntly be told of being “fat and you gained weight” kind of remarks? Well, not me!

I have been hearing about this pill that was featured in Oprah. Well, does irivingiappress cause side effects ? Need to find out  more maybe this can help

I am really worried about my kiddos.  They are getting more and more addicted to computer games. Yes I know that I am to blame for this.  It’s their summer vacation and because they keep on bugging me in the store, I allow them to use the laptop and the Ipod to their liking.

So now I am trying to limit their use and ask them to read more books.  The problem is that their excuse now is that they have read all the books that I have bought them…tsk! tsk! tsk! Now I have to find a way to get them books without me spending..hehe

The hubby promised me that when he gets back we will go mountain climbing together with the kiddos. This will be a new adventure for us as a family. Out there in the mountain nature tripping..hehe.  Me and the kids singing “Jack and Jill went up the hill”..haha. I know the kids will enjoy the camping part, but the trek will be a little difficult.

Maybe they have this on the boys size, Joey already have one like this.  Might need to get this for the trip.  Oh well, it’ll  be on hold for a couple of months the hubby still has 6 months to go before coming home.

Haizzz! Money is so hard to earn but so easy to burn.  My savings is slowly vanishing into thin air…hehe..why oh why!  For the first time in my life I have gotten myself to save-up and that is a feat that I thought I can never achieve..haha  But then even if I don’t want to deflate my savings account, I need some funding for my kid’s education, so my ATM card got some beating…huhuhu

I don’t know with other parents, but I think I can only save-up big time when my kids finish schooling. Oh well, that’s life!  What if I buy morgan dollars as an investment?  Might be worth more in 10 years time….hmmm..not a bad idea

If I am not doing anything, I am a TV bum.  I can  watch all day and have no care in the world.  I  love to watch my fave series but then I enjoy watching movies more which is the reason I have stacked a lot of dvd’s over the years.  My dream is to have a state of the art entertainment system, with all the sound effects and all, which will really give me a super dooper cinema-like experience at home.

Sad to say I can’t buy all the gadgets at once.  But then I should start to buy something, so mounting brackets here I come! hahaha!

Yay! Here I am again on my “weight” thingy.   After the hubby left, I don’t go out and dine anymore as much as we did.  Well, that helped a lot on my pocket.  But now that I no longer work in the office and just managing the store, I don’t get to walk around (which is my only exercise) and commute.  Our store is just a few steps down the house (1st Floor, so goodbye exercise and hello big tummy

Again, I am looking for an easier way to reduce the bulges.   Still have to research again on diet pill side effects before taking anything.  Bummer!
