Arabela Restaurant ...

After our Caliraya adventure, we sidetriped to Liliw, Laguna for the well known place that houses a lot of slipper stores. We rummaged the whole street for something to be brought home as “pasalubong”. After an hour of browsing all the stores in sight, I heard a growling sound that came from none other  than my tummy, so we asked a vendor for a restaurant that serves good food. That question led us to “Arabela“. The quaint restaurant offers pasta, steaks and cakes. I ordered their T-Bone steak with mashed potato and strawberry-mango-banana shake. Yum, yum! It met all my expectations. And the cheesecake..simply delightful!

Have to say that the person that brought us to this restaurant is an honest man, hehehe. The steak cost Php 250-300, the shakes is Php 80-100, the cakes Php 80-120. Hoping that I’ll be coming back soon to Liliw : )

PANSOL, Laguna Hot Spring ...

“It has been proved that hot springs therapy can be rather beneficial for people’s health thanks to the minerals found in them. Hot springs therapy can bring lots of positive results to people. For example, bathing in bicarbonate water contained in hot springs (especially in Spain) might assist opening peripheral blood vessels and at the same time – according to balneologists point of view, help to improve blood circulation in the human body’s extremities. It’s worthy admitting that bicarbonate water is also often utilized for bathing to address mild atherosclerosis and hypertension. For the mentioned health conditions tepid to warm baths are usually utilized to 86-100 degrees. In addition, a number of balneologists believe that bicarbonate hot spring therapy can assist nervous system imbalances and cardiovascular disease. Many hot springs in different countries of the world are rich in sulfates and sulfur (for example, in Spain, Japan and France). Such hot springs therapy can bring a great number of people benefits. They are known to be used to address a wide range of health conditions, including respiratory problems, skin infections and inflammations. Sulfates-rich hot springs therapy is considered to be an outstanding option for people with gastrointestinal and liver problems, some respiratory conditions, etc.”

As a believer of this “hot spring therapy” we visit Pansol, Laguna Hot Spring once or twice a year. It has always been a soothing experience especially when you feel harrassed and beaten up from work and other activities that stresses the body.

The entrance is Php 70 for kids and adults. If your up for the view, Laguna hot spring is not for you, but if you want to try this “hotspring therapy”, go visit, it will be worth your while.
