My male friend wants me to accompany him in buying an engagement ring for her sweetheart.  After the promise ring that he  gaved, now its time for the “it” ring.  I asked him, are you really sure that you want to get married and spend the rest of your life with this girl?  Without blinking his eyes, he said YES! He was so sure of himself  and that is what I need to know.

My friend is dying to ask her girlfriend to get married. He’s been trying to ask my help on how to propose, on what kind of gimmick to do to  make it memorable for both of them.  I asked him if he has given his woman a ring prior to this, he said no, so I gave him a talk about promise ring etiquette.

I gave him two ideas. One is to ask her GF to go for  a joy ride and at some point pretend that the car is broken and then ask 3 over sized males to approach them once their car stopped.  Pretending that they will hurt him they will just ask the girl bluntly “Papakasalan mo ba to o hindi” and then he will pull-out the ring ask again on his own.   My second idea is to go their favorite getaway and find a  special spot and have someone spell will you marry me using rose petals. Once her girl sees it kneel down and offer the ring.  I think he will go for idea number one.  I wish him luck and I’m backing him up a 100%.
